Visiting: Wellington

The festival is FREE to attend. The festival is spread over a level square in the town centre (no mud!)

 

The postcode for the centre of the festival is TA21 8LS

 

Venues

There is a large street markets on South Street and the High Street

 

The indoor venue is the Quaker Meeting House where the Retreat Demo Stage is 

The loos are all public/customer ones in the Quaker Meeting House, Iron Duke, Green Dragon and a little further away on Longforth Road and in the North Street car park

Coaches

Visiting by coach is super easy! Just follow the signs for the Longforth Car Park, Wellington, TA21 8RQ to drop off and it's a level walk from the coach stop to the festival. Coaches are permitted to park here. 

 

Buses

We know that the car parks get very busy so if there is a bus service near you we would advise trying it. You can plan your journey here

We have listened to the feedback from our visitors and developed our Visitor Charter - this is what we are commmitting to deliver for you. 

Car parking

There is a link to the nearest car parks here. There is also a customers car park at Waitrose but this often gets very crowded.

Train & National Express

Wellington has limited train connections. The nearest railway station is Taunton. 

National Express has many cross country coaches stopping here including services (somer requiring a change) from London, Bristol, Birmingham, Plymouth and Exeter. 

* There is no age restriction on attending

* All our venues are fully accessible & there is level access throughout the site

* There is no mud

* We provide lots of seating

* Dogs are welcome

* If you want to bring a picnic, no problem

 

* Do check the weather and wear suitable sun factor protection (or waterproofs!)

 

Walking & Cycling

Getting to the festival on foot or by bike. Wellington is on the national cycle network with great cycle routes going into the town centre.
