11am: Amy Nancollis, Oak and Glass Catering. This is first time for Amy at eat:Weston but this popular local chef will be sharing some of her skills built up over many years at the Oak and Glass. Amy has titled her demo "Cheap as Chips!" as cooking on a budget can still be tasty, come and learn some tricks of the trade and a few cheap and simple recipes
12noon: Local chef Phil Blake, will be demonstrating simple ways with fish using squid prawns and salmon plus a little surprise for those with a sweet tooth. "It is with great pleasure for the third year to be involved with this great festival. A big thank you to everyone for having me."
1pm: Steve Fowell, School Chef of the Year SW regional winner 2017, will be sharing his ability to create inspiring food for just over £1 a portion. Steve wants to reignite a passion for cooking with the family. In his fast-paced, high energy demo Steve will create an awesome Somerset pork medallions with a broad bean and mushroom fricasse and crushed new potatoes - from his new cookbook.
2pm: Dave Newman, Executive Head Chef at Lasseters restaurant at the Winter Gardens. He will be cooking pressed pork belly, pomme puree, braised vanilla carrot, red cabbage, cider sauce, textures of crackling with apple gel
